The 4th Annual Savannah Book Festival Welcomes Author Celeste Friedman

Savannah, GA- The premier literary event of the southeast will hold its 4th annual Savannah Book Festival, featuring authors from across the U.S. and Europe. This year, the festival welcomes author and Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Celeste Friedman.  Her latest book, “Single 101: 101 Reasons to Celebrate Being Single” brings Ms. Friedman back to the Low Country to sign, meet and greet guests in Telfair Square on Saturday, February 19, 2011. In addition to her book, the companion CD, “Single 101” will also be available for signing and sales.

With a paralleled career in radio broadcasting, Ms. Friedman is a former program director and on-air talent for WIJY Radio in Hilton Head Island and will also make an appearance on the air with WLOW’s Monty Jett, 107.9FM on February 17th.

Books ‘n Brew of Bluffton welcome Celeste for a luncheon book signing on February 18th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. As a partner with the American Heart Association, Ms. Friedman will donate a percentage of book sales to the local chapter in Hilton Head in support of the Go Red for Women campaign.
